This week's (January 13th) retrospective features the music and career of Nicky Hopkins, piano session man to the stars. Nicky has played on countless recordings with the Kinks, Stones, Who, The Beatles, Jeff Beck and oh-so many others. He performed at Woodstock with the Airplane and helped arrange the rock opera Tommy. Tune in!

THANK YOU for a successful RADIOTHON!

Now it is official! WCSB reached its fundraising goal this year. You did it! Actually, you overdid it! Sincere thanks to all of our wonderful listeners. You're why we come in every week. That, plus fiddling with all the knobs is fun. But seriously, thank you guys and gals who love this old, obscure, great music.

Broadcasting live every Saturday 9-11am Eastern Time from the studios of WCSB, 89.3fm
Cleveland!

Turn it on, tune it in, slip back in time.
Steve's Folk features lyric-intensive genre-bending rockin folk-y music with a message or two. From Greenwich Village 1960, through yesterday: voices of love, protest, anger, kindness, and need. Obscure covers, requests, and songs you haven’t heard since you cut your hair and got a job. New stuff too. Lots of background music info and a little topical commentary. Two hours of Peace, Love and Understanding.

If you like your folk-y music served to you with a rockin' beat on Saturday mornings, come and set a spell.
